RE: FTP to VAN

William,
Right now off the top of my head I remember it¡Çs the X12.58
encryption. Inside the interchange it doesn¡Çt have to be PGP, it can
be Single or Triple Des. I specifically did it over Sterling and GEIS
VANS. A long time ago I considered 3 packages that supported this, one
was Descrypt by Compress which I think was mentioned recently in regards
to Citibank. Which was the one I was using. The other two hmm¡Ä
Templar by Inovis now and Sterling Dataguard or something¡Ä
Regards,
Steve Lee

Steve,
I think you are referring to the part of the EDIFACT / X12
specifications
that allow for encryption *WITHIN* the interchange? Is there somewhere
I
could find more with regards to this encryption scheme, that you know
of?
I remember reading about this somewhere long ago and want to explore
now.
Hope to hear more from you. Thanks, Steve.
