EDI Consultant for 3 to 6 months project in NJ

POSITION TITLE EDI Consultant
LOCATION: Secaucus NJ
DURATION: 3 to 6 Month(s)
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DESCRIPTION:
Job Requirements: Eligible candidate must have EDI, EDIFACT, IDOC, XML,
UNIX, and Webmethods experience with excellent communication skills.
Job Function: Chosen consultant will perform GENTRAN MAPPING on UNIX between
EDIFACT, X.12, IDOCS and FLAT FILES from Written Specifications. Candidate
will write specifications from requirements, perform mapping, unit testing
and integration testing. Must also have experience with Gentran mailbox and
shell scripting.
Job Restrictions: Only U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents (Green Card, etc.)
can be accepted. Must have solid experience, minimum 8 years in data
processing and minimum 5 years with UNIX and Gentran Mapping .Must have
solid experience minimum 8 years experience in data processing.Must have
solid experience minimum 5 years mapping X.12, EDIFACT, IDOC and flat files
using Gentran Server, Gentran Workstation and knowledge of Gentran GIS.Must
also have minimum 5 years experience with UNIX and shell scripting.Must also
have minimum 2 years experience with Mailbox.Webmethods required (see skills
listing).Base Hours 9am - 5pm with 1hr lunch, Professional Day (per diem).
Excessive overtime will be paid if it is approved in advance by a manager.
Base hours cannot be changed unless approved in advance by a manager.
Excessive variance to daily hours will result in consultant being
released.Excessive personal call, personal cell phone calls and use of
internet for personal use will result in consultant being released. Must be
able to communicate very well.MERCATOR (6.5) is desired but not
required.Term = 3 months to start, if it works out will be extended.
