RE: Washington DC ECOM

Wesley,
You should contact the Federal government CIO Forum group; they might have
some interest in helping your efforts.
Regards,
David Frenkel

Subject: [EDI-L] Washington DC ECOM
I'm in the process of gauging the support for a Washington DC ECOM group,
right here in the nation's capital. I personally attended a few meetings
at the New England ECOM and I'm convinced there is a place for a similar
group in D.C. We'll adopt some of the best practices from New England ECOM
and focus our efforts on the Government Electronic Commerce market, which
is growing at 24 percent annually.
Please respond with some indication of interest, and the capacity you will
be interested in serving. We'll need foundation members, officers and any
skill sets you can volunteer. Depending on the response, we'll try to have
our first meeting around the end of March or early April.
Hoping to get some positive feed back. Bring your positive attitude and
good skills.
