RE: ebXML & Microsoft's Business Collaboration Framework

Hmmmmm.......
Interesting that this should follow on to the tirade about DISA (X12)
charging for standards. I guess we now know how CEFACT gets its money. I
think I would rather have the users pay for the standards to support the
development of them, rather than have a few companies spend money so that I
can have something for free that may be tainted.
Now I don't know if Microsoft was trying to buy Ray and Klaus. And I don't
know if they even "turned their back on ebXML". What I do know is that they
received a lot of publicity out of the article.
It will be interesting to see if the NY Times writes about the outcome, or
if this was just an opportunity to go after Microsoft and IBM.
