Gentran Integration Suite
I am investigating Gentran Integration Suite for the AS/400 and
wanted any and all feedback this group had about Sterling's new
product. I had a demo yesterday, which by the way was great
information, but there was a lot information to capture. I thought
this would be a good way to hear users feedback about the product
like;
Advantages vs Disadvantages?
Who is using the different Communication Methods and how?
How is the actual mapper compared to the native Gentran:400 mapper?
Who is using XML and are there standards in place?
VAN vs FTP?
VAN vs AS2?
Are there other products that similar?
I have read a lot of documentation from Sterling Commerce and
Midrange Stuff, but I am not familiar with many terms or other
options available. I am a one man shop with no local user groups
around and could really use the information. I look forward in
hearing your comments.
