linux amd Tandem

My new employer mentioned yesterday an interest in hosting an
enterprise level translator and AS1/AS2 applications on a Tandem
platform running Linux.

Our current siutation is production on a mainframe that has been
mandated to be gone by year's end, and migration to a Unix
platform. The manager was musing about zero fault tolerance, hence
the Tandem

I would welcome stories of experiences and product pitches.
