RE: FTP to QRS

Tracy:
I had the same problem with ftp to QRS using Softshare's software
so I did indeed use a third party ftp product (WS_FTP) and it worked
like a charm. And the cost is like 50 bucks. And the integration is a
snap as well.

Subject: [EDI-L] FTP to QRS
We are installing GIS 3.0 for Unix, and we need to do ftp with QRS.
GIS cannot do FTP for SSL to QRS (xyz pdq, eieio), but we were told
by Sterling that they would have a patch coming out this Friday that
would fix all of that. Well. we just found out that not only is the
fix NOT going to be in the next patch, it may or may not be in near-
future patches or releases. Sterling recommends that we use a 3rd
party software for communications with QRS until it becomes available
in GIS. We do not want to use a 3rd party if there is any way we can
avoid it. We have a big deadline approaching and need to make a
decision and get moving on an alternative asap.
Is anyone using GIS and doing ftp with QRS?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Tracy
