Subject: <TECH> Interchange and Functional Group control numbers
Hi All --

I'd ask the customer what translater they are using. Bet it is home grown. I
was consulting for one company and their technical and architectual "experts"
wanted the customers (not suppliers) to limit their messages to only one ST
group in one functional group in one ISA. They were trying to build a home
grown translator & transport mechanism. Fortunately, I raised the issue and
they were overruled by management.

Regards,
Susan
