Fw: [Fwd: Potential Junk Mail]

Sorry,
It looks like it is still on. I am working on it again.

Mail](Document link: John Pearce)
Good news all!! I have fought the good fight and won against the email
police here! The spam filter MailMarshall has been turned off for anything
from this userlist. No more special folders, annoying rejects, or unhappy
users. A special thanks to Brian at cybernex for his email "TURN THIS STUFF
OFF ALREADY!. That got their attention.

Mail]
Brian,
It appears that some of your posts to EDI-L, when distributed to the EDI-L
subscriber(s) on the jbhunt.com domain by the Yahoo Groups server, are
being rejected as spam by the MailMarshall spam filter running at that
domain. It is sending the reject email (quoted below) only to you, not to
the whole EDI-L list. So you are the one "sending this trash to the list!"
:-)
I got the same email a few times, though I have never posted anything
remotely like spam. The first two times, I emailed the subscriber,
< and the faceless spam cop address,
< but got no reply. Then, I put the spam cop's
address in my filters, so messages like the one quoted below go straight
into my trash file. Now John Pearce doesn't see some of my posts, but I
don't see the reject emails from jbhunt.com's out-of-control spam cop
either. Everybody is happy.
I recommend that you filter email from < straight
into your trash file as I did.
