You can arrange with your Sterling representative to get a demo copy.

None of us will give you a copy - this software costs a lot of money and
we all sign
contracts that limit the use of the product.

If you think you can learn gentran mainframe from a pdf file ... then
you don't know anything
about EDI. There are many good online resources to assist you, and
Sterling offers a fine
school in Dublin as well.
