AS2 fees

I was wondering if anyone has come across a trade partner who wants to do AS2
with them and then also wants to charge you for doing it with them. We just had
someone contact us to do AS2 and wants to charge us an $800 initiation fee and
then $30 per month as well. Is this a new trend in the AS2 world?
