- E-commerce/EDI
- Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
- Data Conversion and/or
- Data Warehousing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Years Experience, Skills)
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a Minimum of 10 years of IT
experience in development life cycle of commercial/business software
applications.
- At Least 3 years' experience in e-commerce (distributed
applications) development using MS .NET, Web services, SOAP, OO,
ActiveX, Visual Basic, XML, RDBMS, etc.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously,
excellent oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
are essential, and so is the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to
a changing environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Years Experience, Skills)
- IBM WebSphere Studio and Portal development experience, J2EE,
EJB, MVC
- UML/Rational Unified Process (RUP) experience.
- Windows XP, UNIX platform development experience
- Oracle 9iAS
- LDAP, JNDI
- Component Based Development (CBD)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and analyze business requirements
- Design/Develop/Maintain software applications using .NET,
SOAP, UML/Rational, JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC,
Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, using IBM WebSphere Studio
Application Development (WSAD) integrated environment, XML, RDBMS, LDAP,
JNDI, CBD, etc.
- Participate in the design reviews and/or preparation of
detailed
design specifications,
- Develop applications using the Web tools determined for the
project;
- Modify/customize the existing Web applications to meet
customer
requirements,
- Prepare test plans and test cases/scenarios for unit and
integration/
regression testing,
- Test and ensure the quality of the applications developed
through
Unit/Integration testing process,
- Coordinate with testers, QA/configuration management in
deployment of
the software,
- Complete necessary project/application documentation including
specification, design, programmer's maintenance manual, etc.
