70/hr all inclusive.
Position: EDI Analyst/Coordinator
Duration: Approx 50 days
Project: EDI Migration
Job Description: Act as EDI Coordinator/Analyst for a migration of
current trading partners and documents from Gentran NT (Ver 2.1.1) to
Gentran NT (Ver 4.0.1). The analyst will be responsible for migrating
partnerships and maps from v2.1.1 to v4.0.1. Contact, test and
implement existing trading partners exchanging POs (EDI 850) and
Invoices (EDI 810). Implement UXIX cron jobs that are currently being
managed by the Gentran Process Control. When the migratinon is
complete, training of business users for Gentran NT.
This project will also include implementing an 852 Product Activity
Data document with several trading partners. This document
implementation will include the following functions: working with
the business users and trading partners to define the 852
specification; working with other developers to obtain this data from
existing data sources; creating 852 specification documentation;
creating an 852 map and implementing trading partners on this new
transaction set.
Special Skills & Requirements:
Gentran NT application. Preferably v 2.1.1 and/or v4.0.1 using an
Oracle database.
Experience implementing trading partners via VAN, as well as direct
connect.
EDI ANSI X12 for 810, 850 & 852
Oracle database and SQL
UNIX
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
