Position: EDI Mapping and Programming Specialist

Skill Level: Programmer/Analyst

Location: Stamford, CT

Reports To: EDI Project Leader

Permanent Position

Requirements: 1) Primary requirements are knowledge and experience with all
retail, supply-chain, and financial related EDI transactions in X12, EDIFACT,
and TRADACOM formats, extensive proficiency with Gentran translator software by
Sterling Commerce for the AS/400, Robot scheduler for the AS/400 by
Help/Systems, and general AS/400 operating system skills. In addition, AS2
technology and UCCnet experience are strongly recommended.

2) While AS/400 programming will not be a primary focus of this position,
ability to analyze RPG code and communicate with programming staff would be a
great benefit, enabling a better communication with the applications development
and support teams.

3) United States citizen or authorized to be legally employed on an on-going
basis within the United States.

Job Description:
1) Serve as a primary resource for mapping new customer requirements in
Gentran.
2) Serve as a primary resource for mapping changes and amendments.
3) Provide testing resources to and from back-end systems as required by the
business.
4) Monitor daily EDI job / data flow for accuracy
5) Amend EDI transmission timing and job schedules, as necessary
6) Support AS2 technology from EDI transmission to/from clients and business
partners
7) Support UCCnet integration into daily business
8) Implement, along with IT peers, emerging technologies solutions to support
organizations B2B demands.
