Job description
Technical Support Specialists' primary role is to handle and
resolve
customer questions and issues via the Covast support centre in
Bellevue (WA).
Among those duties he/she will be required to provide first and
second line of contact for customer and issues via phone and e-mail;
track and manage the interaction between Covast and the customer;
research issues in problem tracking database; determine if the issue
is a bug and/or known problem; document calls and issue resolution
in helpdesk system; provide input into the modifications of the
product documentation; provide input into the creation of and
management of a customer support website; and provide input into the
testing team regarding product quality.
Successful candidate must have a college degree with Major in
Computer Science or Technical College Degree, knowledge of XML and
its specs (XSD, XDR), proficient in Microsoft operating systems,
knowledge of Microsoft BizTalk Server, MS SQL Server, EDI,
security\permissions and MCSE and/or other Microsoft certification
highly desirable. Must be self sufficient, have strong interpersonal
skills, ability to interact with others and possess excellent
communication skills.
Candidate must live in the metro-Seattle area; able to work odd
hours (between the hours of 8AM 10PM PT) and on-call some
weekends
to support various customer locations worldwide. We are looking to
fill this position quickly. This is a permanent, onsite position.
