Subject: Need Information on European Transactions
I have a collegue working in Europe that is asking me
some questions about EDI transactions. He would like
to know a bit more about these transactions which I
have never heard of.

I was hoping someone could help explain these to me so
I can pass the information on.

They are talking about R8 / M100 (M1) transactions.
They are some kind of forecast data transactions for
their JIT planning system.
The context:
- Sonata data (4-6 wks forcast)
- R8: 1.5 days
- M100 (M1): 2-3 hrs.

I would like to know:
1. What Standard is this?
2. Are these industry standard transactions
3. And any more information you know about this

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Nicole Geremesz
