May be its just me, but here are my calculations based on your rate:
$37 p/h = $1480 p/week
Deduct 35% tax (average) = $962
$962 p/week = $50,024 p/y
Deduct family health insurance (if your spouse doesn't carry one) you
are left with $25-30,000.
Deduct your mortgage/rent/car payments.
If you are not in below zero yet, think about your food, gas college
money for kids.
No wander we get outsourced to India.
