Mindy,
Any switch from ASYNC to IP will give a significant reduction in communication
problems. In fact, everyone that uses EDI should be switching to the various
flavors of IP. Inovis isn't unique in this matter. However, there is money
involved in making this switch.
Could you give an estimate as to about how many EDI transactions (perhaps a
range) that you send each month and the approximate reduction (percentage) in
pricing. That would help all of us in helping us to set management's
expectations and will help us to cost justify the move to IP.
