Greetings all!

I am seeking a person with EDI, business application, project
management and logistics skills for a postion in San Francisco, CA.
The position is available immediately and is detailed in the

JOB DESCRIPTION - EDI / Logistics Manager

Responsibilities:
> Manages the team of Logistics personnel charged with the task of
order preparation and fulfillment. This team is responsible for all
inbound and outbound Logistics, order preparation, data entry of non-
EDI orders, and EDI inbound and outbound processing.

> Performs trading partner implementation functions as necessary to
meet current business issues and satisfy business partner
requirements. This includes setting up communications methods and
mailboxes, analyzing EDI specifications to fit the internal business
application, coordination of EDI with UCC-128 label and customer
ship-to preparation, and coordination of inbound EDI with inbound
logistics to insure timely receipt of goods to meet customer order
demands.

> Assists with performing daily EDI processing (communications
sending and receiving). Will also be required to perform data entry
tasks (ASN preparation, order entry, etc.) as work load requires.

> Maintains communications and translation environments to insure
accurate and timely processing of EDI transactions

> Manages the process of continual research, development and
implementation of solutions to improve processes that aid in
promoting company profitability

Requirements:
> Working knowledge of MAS90/MAS200

> Working knowledge of EDI transactions in retail usage

> Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word specifically)

> Working knowledge of bar code technology and relation to EDI

> Understanding of shipping and inbound logistics functions


Skills:
> Possess strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution,
good time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects,
and process multiple tasks as required

> Ability to understand complex technical information, and translate
this information into relevant business terms and concepts

> Capable of developing clear and up-to-date procedural documentation

> Ability to communicate with others in an effective and concise
manner
