I agree with you completely. I think I am record on this list for having
ranted that the two main advantages of XML in our field are that it is
likely to make application import / export easier, and that the
generality of its use will create a much larger pool of technicians
familiar with it than are available for the more specialised EDI
standards. I suppose I should add the wider range of tools available for
handling it than were ever available for good old EDI.
