stink permeates all things, even EDI. ;)

I find it intriguing that Canadians have all sorts of opinions about
U.S. Healthcare privacy (Earl Wertheimer of Quebec), U.S. foreign

But this is an EDI discussion list. So what are your opinions on
e-business, EDI, X12, EDIFACT, ebXML or UBL?

No. Not if the government is behind it. ;-)
I find it difficult to believe that a government mandated standard is
actually
able to achieve it's stated goals.
Has HIPAA actually improved the Medicare program?
