Trading Partner Unit Purchased by Emanio Inc.
The following letter is being sent to current TP users:
Attention: Trading Partner and OnCall*EDI Customers
Important Notice concerning the continued support of Mercator's
Trading Partner products family including Trading Partner PC/32,
Desktop, Workgroup, Kits, and OnCall*EDI.
We are pleased to announce that Mercator has entered into an
agreement with Emanio Inc., a leading-edge e-business software
vendor, in which Emanio has purchased the Desktop EDI unit from
Mercator. This will mean that August 31, 2002 will no longer mean
the end of the Trading Partner and OnCall*EDI product lines. Emanio
will continue to sell, support, update and expand these EDI desktop
solutions. These products include Trading Partner PC/32, Desktop,
Workgroup, Kits, and OnCall*EDI.
If you have signed up for support for any of these products through
August 31, 2002, please be assured that Mercator will continue to
support you through this date. Emanio will take over support on
September 1, 2002 and will offer you a maintenance contract to
commence on that date. If you do not have an active maintenance
contract or your current contract ends prior to August 31, 2002,
Emanio is prepared to offer you a new maintenance contract or to
renew your existing contract past its current expiration date.
Emanio will be contacting you directly. In the meantime, both
Mercator and Emanio are eager to answer any questions you may have.
We are also eager to share our enthusiasm about the future, including
the release of Trading Partner Version 6.2, which includes
substantial workgroup and ease-of-use enhancements, as well as XML
support.
