Those values could also come from the application, or CNTL records
could be used, if you want to stay in partner-qualifier mode. Call in to
your SUPPORT Hotline and they can assist you further.

From: "Anita Fancher" < Subject: (EDI-L) Mainframe/Gentran Basic 6.0 Question on multiple outbound
sender ids

I'm sure some of you do this...

We're merging with another company and want to incorporate their EDI into
our Mainframe/Gentran Basic 6.0 system. We have a lot of the same trading
partners and will use our existing maps, etc. My question is how do we use
two different outbound sender id numbers for one trading partner? For
example, both companies will be sending oubound 855's to the same trading
partner id but with a different outbound sender id for each company.

The method we've always used to determine outbound sender id is in the
PARTNER CONTROL INFORMATION -
Outbound envelope information for ISA segment: Sender ID.....ISA06:
099999999______ (we enter our number here)

Do we need to start using the APPLICATION ENVELOPE DEFINITION instead? If
so, how does this work?

Also, are there anymore issues that we need to consider for what we're
trying to do?

Thanks for your time and assistance.
