If you're missing a segment, and the file is from a Trading Partner,
I wouldn't recommend editing a file for auditing purposes. Identify the
error
ask the TP to correct on their end, to fix the problem so it doesn't
keep occurring, and resend the transaction.
As the other emails have stated, you should be able to look at the Ansi
file to see
if a segment is missing, or if there is another problem.

It sounds like you have an input file that is missing an IEA segment which
must terminate an ANSI X12 Interchange. View the file and check out line
3395. If the IEA segment is not present, create one and you should be
able
to reprocess the file. It's format is IEA*(number of GS-GE
pairs)*(ISA13=Interchange Control #)~ where the asterisk should be
replaced
by your element separator. It may just be that the segment terminator is
missing from the IEA segment.
