I gotta ask:
If it's an inbound transaction and you want it in "raw" EDI format, why even
bother running it through a translator/mapper? Doesn't it come in "raw?"
If it's an outbound transaction, isn't the file which gets sent to the receiver
the "raw" EDI format?
What am I missing here?
Unless, you mean "extract" (with or without re-enveloping) one or more
transaction sets from a file containing one or more interchanges??? (Heck, I
could write something to do that over a weekend. Might that be useful to
anyone?). ("Useful" means, "yeah, I'd pay a modest price for software which
could do that.")
