Agreed, but if you are already paying VAN charges, switching from VAN to VAN
based AS2 is of little consequence. Now if you goal is to eliminate VAN
charges then an in-house AS2 solution makes sense. But I think the OP was
just trying to meet the requirements of a low volume partner.
