Ron,

GIS focuses more on a flow than hard data translation. The EDI 400 product is
the translation piece. In a strange way this would be like comparing WebMethods
to Gentran for Windows.

I can not recall what version of mapper the 400 runs but if it is unified with
the Unix and NT with AI then they should function somewhat the same. The
previous statement pertains to the mapping function itself, not the product
overall.
