I prefer the 75 pages to the single-side-of-a-single-page specs I get; I
just wish they'd pare it down to 20 pages by leaving out segments that
they won't send or accept. I guess that's the EDI equivalent of "this
page intentionally left blank".

To combat boredom, I contemplate unemployment. It helps.

Okay why do customers have to write such long winded mapping spec's?

I just printed 55 pages for an 810 invoice and 75 pages for an 850 PO.
Why do mapping spec's have to be so long and boring to read.
