Trains gain the benefit of being able to run their diesel engines at the
most efficient speed all the time to run generators, and then use
electric motors to actually turn the wheels.

Not to mention the intangible gains of repeating "I think I can I think
I can I think I can".

The key words in my post are, "an automated way". Barcodes already fill
the
function that RFID is taking over for WM. It's just more automated. Yes,
those special products are "handled" currently- but could it be handled
better? Probably, there's always room for improvement. Would RFID
further
that cause? Maybe, maybe not.

Shows what I know- I thought trains used fuel too!
