Let me be the first to welcome you to the best EDI community on the
Internet. This list is populated with a great number of EDI legends and
skilled professionals who are always ready to assist a peer.
It is my personal opinion that this community is best utilized to clarify
the myriad of gray areas and subtleties of EDI that you and all EDI
professionals encounter during the course of our jobs.
I suggest that you find a training on Gentran and EDI in general. Then
research your questions as thoroughly as possible with the various tools
provided by your vendor and numerous Internet web sites before posting a
question here. While this community is eager to help, it is not a substitute
for training and hands on experience.
I wish you the best in your new endeavor and hope that you will find EDI to
be a great technology with tremendous potential for the future of electronic
commerce.
