RE: Pricing

"you get what you pay for..."
In most cases I agree with this but Softshare by far has the most
competitive pricing on the market. And SERVICE to boot!
No hidden fees, time of day, delimiter charges, interconnect charges,
my-dog-ate-my-homework charges etc etc that most other VANs have. Just
straightforward easy to understand pricing! All those using Softshare's
services will agree.
I've looked at many invoices from various 'big' VANS and you need an actuary
to figure them out! And even when the customers use the same VAN - the
pricing is still not the same. All depends on what and how you negotiated
your deal. So the end-user has no idea if he's paying too much. Or, for
what, for that matter.
No thanks! Softshare's VAN charges are .15 (15 cents USD) per Transaction
(997's are always free). So yes, some will argue that a 2k 810 will cost
7.5cents per KB but a 10k 810 will only 'cost' 1.5 cents per KB. Volume
pricing can get that cost even lower. They do not charge per KB - just a
flat rate per transaction. Regardless of size** (10KB chunks).
Take a look at Softshare's site. They publicly post what it costs. Can't say
the same for anyone else.
