Greetings,



Gateway, Inc. has 1-2 open positions for a contractor with knowledge of
Gentran NT server. Duration of contract is approximately 6 months. Start
time: ASAP (all positions have already been approved).

Location: Irvine, CA. Here is a brief description:



As an EDI Contractor, you will be responsible for the programming
(mostly mapping XML to EDI and EDI to XML), testing, debugging,
maintenance and documentation of the secure Electronic Data Interchange
(EDI) for Gateway's core systems using Gentran NT Server, Cyclone
Interchange and MS SQL Server 2000. You will work on projects that are
of an advanced level that will meet business application needs by
interpreting policies, procedures and guidelines.

As an EDI Contractor, a minimum of 3 years experience with EDI is
required. An advanced knowledge of applicable hardware and software
configurations and programming are required.

Qualifications:

- Gentran NT Server
-AS2 File/Transaction Encryption protocols
-ANSI X.12 standard formats
-ODBC/Openclient database connectivity
