Subject: RE: [EDI-L] migration of maps to GIS 4
We are migrating ours from Gentran to GIS 3.1. All of our maps are ODBC
maps and GIS does not support ODBC maps due to the fact that they use
JDBC to communicate to the database. The data flows through, but there
are incomplete records of it in GIS.

If your maps are flat-file you shouldn't have too much trouble. You'll
just have to recompile them all as Sterling Integrator maps and make
sure you work through any inconsistencies that may arise. But, if your
maps are ODBC there's only one way we've discovered of getting the
results you want and it takes some development. You can email me
directly to discuss it if you'd like.

Good Luck.

Hi
We would be migrating our maps from Gentran to GIS 4.0.
Are there any known issues or best practices to be followed in this
migration.
Any info would be welcome.
