I suggest that you look at Softshare for an inexpensive but robust
solution. I'm a reseller of their product after evaluating solutions
for the SME's.
They have a number of products, but I would recommend that you evaluate
the Delta Enterprise Translator. It not only supports X12 documents,
but UN/EDIFACT, OAGi, RosettaNet and your own proprietary flat files.
Regarding labeling: The labeling process is spawned by a flat file. So
you may be able to use your current labeling software or you might look
at Seagull labelling product which can be used with Softshare.

support is great. As your business grows, you can expand with their ECS
product which offers real-time data exchange, offering secure FTP, AS2,
encryption, SMPT with sophisticated error tracking. They have an RFID
solution, too.
