I haven't seen anything about them adding more ip's. More than the original
4?

that approach would not have helped in our last issue. someone at
walmart forgot to tell us that they were
adding two new ip addresses to their send pool, so traffic from the new
addressed didn't get through the holes
in the firewall. the sad part is that they never want to admit to any
changes on their end.
