The file format of the exchange is really a secondary concern since we have
the flexibility to exchange the data in xml, flat file, x12, or any other
format...although I prefer X12.
I prefer X12 because of the existence of the 821 transaction...an existing
standard to build on. However, if there is a "standard" DTD for xml
transmissions of GL info, I'd be interested in hearing of that as well.

I was more interested in the "common" trend for GL info exchange under the
guise of EDI (X12).
