Create a new User DSN called "GentranStandards"; choose "Microsoft
Access Driver (*.mdb)" and point it to the Standard.mdb.

Typically, the Standard.mdb should be in your main GENSRVNT folder; but
at the same time, it does not have to be in this location as long as the
User DSN is pointing correctly to where the file resides.

All this information and more should be in the Gentran Installation
Guide.

Hello there,

I'm fairly new to Gentran, and as I have no formal training I could
use some help. We're currently running Gentran Server for Windows.
We are using a SQL Server database with it. I am trying to update the
standards with the latest CD and I'm not sure how to go about it. Can
anyone help? From what I understand there is a Standards.MDB file on
the CD that should overwrite and existing Standards.MDB on the Server
which Gentran resides, but there is no Standards.MDB file on our
Gentran Server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Parag R.Shah
