I do know EDI, and moved from an job using TLE to one using Gentran.... it
wasn't easy to me to 'jump in and use gentran'... even with my background,
so I do agree that if you haven't used the standards in EDI before, this
will be a tough project for you...

Hello All,
I am new to the group. I am a consultant. I am helping a company
purchase and setup Gentran for Windows, Basic edition. Our client will
need one map for one trading partner and one map to integrate the data
into their accounting system.
I have a fair amount of programming experience, just no experience
with this software or EDI. How long would/should it take to build
these maps? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
