I agree that it's oftentimes easier to fix the cause of the breakage than it
is to migrate to another platform, but this poster seems to have his mind
made up.

Are you sure that it is the Sterling product that is
the problem or your environment? I have never heard of
a Sterling product breaking (at least not on a Unix
system). What do you mean by "breaking"? I would
recommend you to move to a UNIX system.

If you were on a Unix system, I would advise you to
wait a bit and you could get SeeBeyond which will soon
be bundled into Sun's JES.

Otherwise I would go with GIS from Sterling. I would
not touch anything from GXS, unless I enjoyed having
nightmares.
