Earl,
The EasyLink web site does indicate that this problem applies only to
AccessPlus ver. 3.01 or earlier.
However, a Support person at EasyLink informed me that this problem has to
do with the fact that they used the letters of the alphabet to
differentiate years in their sending process in AccessPlus and I guess that
"Z" represented 2005.
I was told that this problem exists in all versions of AccessPlus but only
appears if one is using a script to launch AccessPlus (which our AccessPlus
3.02 customer is doing).
In addition, their web site www.easylink.com/2006 states that all
AccessPlus and Toolkit installs will have to be upgraded by May 1, 2006
irrespective of this scripting issue, and that the upgrade now available at
www.easylink.com/qual to fix this scripting issue will also satisfy the May
1, 2006 upgrade requirement.
