Subject: Cleo Lexicom vs GIS for AS2
Hi,
Does anyone have experience with both of these (or either)? We are a Gentran
Unix site, with plans to (eventually, maybe later this year) migrate our EDI to
GIS, but we need to roll out AS2 now. Is it going to be faster to implement
and easier to maintain AS2 using Cleo? Once we are on GIS is there a
compelling reason to then implement the GIS AS2 instead of continuing to use
Cleo?
What about FTP/FTP-S? Which is easier/faster to get going with, and more
maintainable?
I guess underlying the above is the assumption that you wish to implement this
with available in house resources and not have a requirement to use consultants
to get this going (i.e. we are cheap, but want reliable results).
Thank you.
Ken
