Re: Cleo Lexicom vs GIS for AS2

I have used both extensively, and here's what I think:

Cleo
Pros:  Preconfigued templates for the TP (that's not a huge deal).
Cons: Can't change the core functionality if you want.

GIS AS2:
Pros: Obviously, it ties well with GIS.  It tracks each document awesome -
it keeps a search record in GIS.  Better control over what it does when it
come in.
Cons: It only has one certificate if you are using the stnd AS2 screens.
That means when it expires you have to get each trading partners to update
the certificate all at once.  I'm hoping they'll fix this in later version.
(before my certs expire <grin>)

If I was you, I wouldn't waste my time doing both.  I thought both were
pretty easy to configure and install.  Use one and stick with it.
Obviously, keeping things simple with support - go with Sterling.  Cleo is
cheaper, though.  I don't know what to tell you about FTP / S with these
products.  Both products support it, from my understanding.
