Integration Support Specialist, B2B / A2A
This person will provide on-call level 2 support for Integration systems
at Dell. 24x7 pager response is required on a rotational basis. The
Support Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the communications
and the Integration processes to ensure reliability, stability and
accuracy in addition to providing telephonic technical support to
customers, users and application teams. Work will require assisting L1
support by developing processes, researching problems and providing
training.
Functions:
Respond as quickly as possible to identify and resolve issues involving
B2B and A2A applications
Research reported issues to determine root cause and correct issue
Follow-up with the
EDI developers, Level 1 and 3 support, partners and
other I/T staff regarding the
resolution or status of their request to
drive closure
Escalating to Level 3 when resolution is unknown
Monitor and research exceptions including failed transactions
Notify Trading Partner community during outage periods
Participate in the planning and performance of system
maintenance
Participate in the update of support documentation
Assist in Trading Partner onboarding activities
Qualifications
Required
Experience in the Integration space (A2A, B2B, MQ)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Self starter
Able to work as an effective part of a team
Knowledge of EDI, A2A, B2B,
EAI, XML,
web services
4 yr degree or equivalent experience
Good phone presence in English while bi-lingual is desirable
Helpful
Previous help-desk or support experience
Knowledge of communication protocols such as AS1, AS2, sFTP, https
Experience with applications Inovis, TLE, webMethods, Tumbleweed or
other Integration applications
