I have totally given up getting an
EDI position Spencer. My last being 6 months
ago. I, too, would relocate, work on contract, get further education, travel,
take 'way' less pay, plus clean the restrooms and run for food, BUT still no
offers. I believe it is time for me to 'step away from the map' and leave EDI
behind me. Hopefully you are young and have some time to wait. It looks like EDI
is on the rise again, but from 911 until about a year ago there was nothing
happening. Best of luck to you Spencer. Just an idea, while you are waiting for
EDI headhunters to call you, maybe take up a few classes on what you are lacking
skills in.
Participating through this EDI group is a great way to have people in this field
give you advise. Also list your updated
resume on all .com sites (i.e. monster,
dice, careerbuilder, etc.).

I left my EDI position thinking that I would be able to find another
similar position easy enough. It's been 4 weeks and I've not had a
nibble. I may have to change careers or go back to school.
