Burlington Coat has always been a PITA.
They create a dummy item number like PO1234567LN2 where the Item number is
actually their PO number, plus a line number with a couple of embedded
characters PO and LN.

Then they send SLN assortment segments for items that have no pre-packs or
assortments. ;-(

Then they told my client that there was nothing wrong with the structure of
their orders.

When I pointed out that their POs were difficult to handle, their reply was
"You passed SPS Commerce testing, so what's the problem", with a threat to send
us back to testing again.

I was able to reprogram the conversion of incoming POs, so that the SLN item
numbers were sent to the ERP system instead of their 'junk' item numbers.

It was not an experience that I want to repeat...
