Matt
I would look at the v5 spec which is online at
X12. There are probably very
small differences between the versions, and if a partner complains, you can
always tell them that it's in anticipation of the new release.
The specs are at:
http://www.x12.org/x12org/subcommittees/dev/dpANS_V5.cfm
Once you know the element number of the Man_01 (88), you can lookup the
permitted values in the Element file.
You want the Element dictionary:
http://www.x12.org/x12org/subcommittees/dev/pdf/V5_x123.pdf
We keep these links at:
http://www.spe-edi.com/links.html
PS: I don't think that there is any differentiation of values for different HL
levels. Looking at existing specs will also give you an idea of what is
already in use with other trading partners.
