GIS 4.0 SAP RFC

Has anyone implemented GIS 4.0 or 4.1 with the SAP adapter? We
implemented GIS 3.0 in the past with the help of Sterling Consulting.
However we implemented GIS 4.0 ourselves. We are now trying to get the
SAP RFC setup. We have implemented the SAP Java Connector on the UNIX
server where GIS 4.0 resides. Additionally, I have configured the SAP
adapter in GIS to our SAP environment. We have created an RFC / program
id in SAP, however it will not connect with GIS and the UNIX server. Is
there a directory within GIS on the server where the program id is?
Does something else need to be installed on the server?

Any ideas are appreciated!

Regards,
Jeff
