Here is more on the job description:
Candidate should have background in the following disciplines:
1.) Understanding of Database structures.
2.) SQL - preferably Sequel Server.
3.) Unix command line functions (Basic Shell Scripting a plus)
4.) AS2.net Scripting.
5.) One of the following programming languages (Visual Basic, C++,
Java or HTML)
6.) Basic understanding of EDI structures (
X12, Edifact)
7.) Should have worked in one or more of the following Industries
(Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, or Shipping)
8.) System Documentation and
Standard Operating Procedures.
Additional knowledge in these other areas is helpful but not required.
1.) Gentran or other Integration translation software.
2.) Microsoft Office professional suite including Access, and
Project.
3.) SMTP
4.) Samba directory sharing.
5.) XML
Person should be able to work in a team environment as well as
independently. The ability to acquire customer/user/corporate
requirements and provide recommendations.
