Hello Jayne,
Might I suggest Edifecs SpecBuilder software?
SpecBuilder has a complete library of
EDI standards including
X12, EDIFACT,
UCS, VICS, and more. The authoring interface is clean and easy to use and
produces PDF, HTML, and RTF documents for distribution to partners.
SpecBuilder also supports custom flat file creation.
SpecBuilder
Enterprise also offers EDI and flat file data validation, test
data generation, and a utility for migrating guidelines from version to
version as the need arises.
SpecBuilder can produce various machine-readable formats, including
comma-delimited files, XML, and some vendor specific formats, from the same
guideline that is published for distribution.
You can find more information at

Thank you,

Subject: [
EDI-L] Producing EDI Specifications
Dear EDI-L Group:
A client of ours is beginning to search for a stand-alone software package
which produces EDI specifications based on their company's EDI requirements
(currently 004010 and 004030, 15-20 different document types, 600+ trading
partners). The specifications need to be exportable so they can be printed,
sent via email to trading partners, posted to a website, etc.
I would appreciate feedback, negative or positive, on any packages of this
type you have recently used, or any you have some knowledge of. At this
time our client cannot consider any package which would require changing EDI
translators. The translator they currently have is Tie Commerce's eVision
product, running on Unix.
Thanks for all your input!
Jayne
