The prime focus of the role is to provide thought leadership and expertise on
Gateway Concepts, B2B Ecommerce processes, Industry
Standards, Communication
channels and future B2B technology and business trends.
Responsibilities include
· Provide Thought Leadership and 'Subject Matter Expertise' regarding Gateway
Concepts, B2B processes, Industry Standards and Communication channels
· Contribute to the development and implementation of B2B strategies and
processes
· Develop B2B Ecommerce
EDI standards.
·
Project Delivery
· Work with Suppliers to implement Internet Connectivity under the AS2
specification
· Install & Support B2B Gateway applications and liaise with the broader IT
community.
To be successful in this role you will need:
· Extensive experience in B2B Ecommerce processes and standards.
· Extensive experience in B2B Gateway technologies - preferably Sterling
Commerce GIS or Gentran but any other
enterprise level Gateway product will be
well regarded
· Demonstrable proficiency in EDI & XML standards
· Ability to implement and adhere to production support best practises
· Demonstrable competency in Problem Management
· Experience in Internet communication channels (https, AS2, FTP, SMTP)
· Business Process Modelling Language (BPML)
· Demonstrable proficiency in SQL
· Strong Communication & Presentation skills
· Experience in coordinating Ecommerce project deliverables.
